Bio-fuel as a renewable fuel, its development and utilization will have a positive effect on solving our energy and environmental problems. The comprehensive study and assessment of this energy resource should be carry out to establish bio-fuel development strategies and technical roadmap after it is integrated into the transportation energy and whole energy systems. The Tsinghua-ALTRANS model is constructed based on MAED and MESSAGE to identify the contributions and challenges via the quantitative analysis of 3 potential and 3 level scenarios.
