Family business plays a great role in the economy all around the world. This paper discusses the SHEMP theory on the sustainable development of this special type, and tries to analyze the relationship between the alternatives and the surroundings. Our conclusion is that due to the very credit environment in today's China, the best choice for family business is the combination of generation passing and professional management.
