Many researchers in the West argued that the diversification was associated with governance structure based on empirical studlied in recent years. These findings were consistent with the explanation of the diversified strategy with the help of the angency theory of the governance structure across the firms with different level of the diversification.A sample of SSE 180 companies was studied empirically. The ANOVA analysis showed that: the structure of leadership and the concentrated degree of ownership were significantly different among three samples, but there was a slight difference in the proportion of independent directors and managerial equity ownership in sampled companies.
