According to the characteristics of agility, networking and flexibility of ERP in manufacturing industry, this paper analyze the demands of enterprise model from the aspects of production type of manufacturing industry, advanced manufacturing model, supply chain management and business process reengineering. It also comparatively analyzes the existing enterprise modeling framework in detail. Combined with integrated enterprise modeling and DEM ideas, this paper designs the enterprise modeling framework, and designs its view, lifecycle and universal hierarchical dimension as well as their relationship in detail. Meanwhile, it analyzes the evolution course of various dimensional models. The research is expected to lay a foundation for realization of design, development and implementation of flexible ERP.
