On the basis of analyzing the principle of the reengineering of production system,the constraint theory was introduced in the process of the reengineering of production system and the method for the reengineering of production system was put forward according to the constraint theory.The method can identify and determine the constraint process in accordance with the constraint theory and redesign the production system on the basis of the constraints existed in the system.The reengineering evaluation index of production system was built in accordance with the system evaluation index of the constraint theory,realizing the dynamic evaluation of the reengineering effect.
