Outsourcing decision-making is related widely factors which are complex and multi-perspectives problems.For the reason the members of decision-maker committee are derived from various departments,it is necessary a visual logic process which could be used to recognize complex decision processes in order to let the problems are discussed under an open environment.In this paper,manufacturing specification(MS) is defined,which effects the long-term competitive edge of enterprises,and the necessity of process of outsourcing decision making is analyzed from a strategic view.AS-IS outsourcing process of decision is analyzed by IDEF0.It is seen that this decision process shows its drawbacks,for example,the operation and short profit are only considered for continuous production and for acquiring and holding core manufacturing competence(product definition and MS) without strategic leading.Re-engineering of outsourcing decision process is based on the above perspectives of object,subject,and outcome of decision and supplier selection.
