On the basis of the practice of logistics operation in China,Logistics Capability Maturity Model(LCMM)was proposed.In this model,the logistics capability maturity was divided into initial stage,basic one,repetitive one,quantitative management one and optimal one.The key activities under every rank were analyzed.The rank of a company in China was evaluated by LCMM. The evaluated result can be used as an indicator,indicating how this company improves its logistics capability.LMCC can also be used in the establishment,operation and coordination of logistics service alliances centered as the capability.
