Present research was reviewed of information management, including the flow, classification, distortion, risks and share of information in supply chains. The researched scopes of information management in supply chains deal with the existence, causes, weakening and elimination policies of bullwhip effect, as well as various kinds of information distortion besides bullwhip effect, information risk arising from information distortion, and solutions to these information management problems mentioned above by sharing information. The approaches used in information management researches were analyzed and summarized. Further research directions of information management in supply chains were also pointed.
