Fine's clockspeed theory was summarized. Considering the match with clockspeed, a design method of supply chain is proposed is proposed, whose  main ideas are as follows:  fast-clockspeed matches responsive supply chain, and slow-clockspeed matches efficient supply chain; supply chain design especially make/buy decision, should be coherent with the corporation's strategic objective. According to this theory, the strategies and supply chain designs of Nokia and Samsung were analyzed. Some suggestions are given for the supply chain design of the electronic products manufacturers.
