From the perspective of the information processing of the knowledge workers and the inner trait of the knowledge work itself, the four main factors which would influence the difficulty of the knowledge work are put forward, which are complexity, uncertainty, incompletion and ambiguousness. One survey was carried out using the performance appraisal material to investigate the time needed for 31 workers to finish the different knowledge work. The multiple linear regressions are built based on the experimental dada.
