The work pattern is important to the enterprise and workers. In this paper, the work pattern problem for airport security screening officers is studied. Firstly the day scheduling model and year configuration model are proposed to design the proper work pattern. Then a case is presented based on the real data of an airport. After the calculation and analysis, it designs a new work pattern called two-teams-one-day. It is better than the former one. The validity of the method is verified.
