After the foundation of new China, the research and practice for Chinese management have gone through three phases and its power of discourse has gone through the evolutional course from being sprouted to being formed, and to being fully westernized. The power of discourse of western management in China could be deconstructed into: the scholars leading academic community, being the mainstream of management theory by way of which first impressions are strongest, praising themselves the universal management theory, controlling a great deal of international academic journals, getting help from the mighty practice of organizational management in western country, diffusing and popularizing the research method and paradigm and relying on English that is the most international languages. Currently, we must not only plan the two research roads of “a Chinese theory of management” and “a theory of Chinese management” as a whole, and advance our capability of discourse at the same time fighting for domestic power of discourse, but also make the construction of domestic power of discourse as the cut edge to fight for international power of discourse. In this process, we must get help from every effort that could get, to advance side by side between scholar’s individual power of discourse and collective power of discourse of Chinese management research, and then adhere to the train of thought of problem oriented indigenous research, to ultimately reconstruct the power of discourse of Chinese management research through the joint efforts of theoretical research and practice of organizational management in China.
