The venture capital syndicate network is established and developed because of ties between venture capitalists. According to literature review, research in the venture capital syndicate network develops very slowly and can be classified into the empirical measurement, the evolutionary dynamics, the governance mechanism and the performance measurement of the venture capital syndicate network. The paper argues that deficiencies exist in both research objectives and methods.
