Abstract:4 digital entrepreneurial firms are selected to conduct a multi-case study on the mechanism of coopetition strategy affecting the value creation of digital entrepreneurial firms from the resource perspective. The study found that the resource integration of digital entrepreneurial firms includes four methods: outbound resource assistance, outbound resource complementation, inbound resource optimization, and inbound resource bricolage. Coopetition strategy is the strategic foundation to promote the smooth implementation of the resource integration of digital entrepreneurial firms. Coopetition strategy realizes the common value and individual value through outbound resource integration and inbound resource integration, respectively. The common value created by value network members helps to enhance the individual value of digital entrepreneurial firms.
