Abstract:Human resource management implementation is not only of benefit to employees’ performance and work attitude but also has a positive effect on organizational performance, in which line managers play an important role. Based on the literature review method, this paper sorts out and analyzes the measurement methods, influencing factors, and outcomes of human resource management implementation. The research finds that the line managers’ human resource management beliefs, abilities, and motivations contribute to human resource management implementation. However, HRM responsibilities may also be a burden. Only when line managers have enough time and energy can the implementation of human resource issues be promoted. More than that, organizational support, organizational climate, and espoused HRM practices will also have an impact on it. Based on the above analysis, the study puts forward an integrated model of this topic and offers suggestions for future research, such as exploring the influencing factors, mechanisms, and outcome variables, focusing on the interaction of cultural context and digital economy.
