Abstract:Based on the resource orchestration theory and the exploratory case study method, this study constructs an integrated theoretical model of data enablement driving the innovation mechanism of C2M reverse customization model in intelligent manufacturing enterprises. It is found that in the process of data resource orchestration, intelligent manufacturing enterprises can realize the customer enablement, process enablement and cooperation enablement, and systematically promote the innovation of C2M reverse customization mode. The implementation of different levels of enablement follows the corresponding process path of “construct the target resource combination—integrate resources to build capability—use the capabilities to create value”. Among them, the customer enablement is the prerequisite foundation for the innovation of the C2M reverse customization model. The process enablement provides back-end support for the innovation of the C2M reverse customization model. And the cooperation enablement provides resource guarantees for the innovation of the C2M reverse customization model. This study has deepened the research on the mechanism path of the realization of data enablement, and has certain practical enlightenment for guiding intelligent manufacturing enterprises to create C2M reverse customization advantages through datafication transformation.
