Abstract:On the basis of reviewing the main ideas of levels philosophy of dialectical materialism theory, Mutationism, Emergentism, system theory, dissipative structure theory, synergetics, and other disciplines, it is believed that the objective world is a unity of multi-level hierarchy which is the intrinsic attribute of objective things. Classical management theories tend to solve the problem of “single level”, lack of attention to “multi-level” of management system and the dynamic evolution features of management levels, so that “management levels mismatch” occurs and causes management failure. Stratified Management Theory is an innovative application of levels philosophy in the field of management science. The essence of the theory is to seek the correct matches among management subjects and objects, the management goal management method and the management environment, so as to improve the management efficiency. Stratified Management is essentially a kind of “complexity management”, which is conducive to the realization of the self organization of the complex giant system by using “dynamic” stratified management.
