Drawing on the review of a six-months-lasting academic dialogue, this paper describes and interprets the bulk of self-narratives on indigenous management from some Chinese scholars(of management and social science) through their email exchanges, the author found, Anti-positivism / scientism, philosophy (of Science), empirical research inspired by the multiple paradigms have become the mutual understanding of the community. However, when gazing on the dialogue, the author is aware that we, Chinese scholars, could live a healthy academic life only if we adapt our beliefs, attitudes, approaches as social responsibilities takers with reflexivity. A real sensemaking development will make sense.
