Abstract:This study divides the innovation outputs into three categories including science and technology outputs, economic outputs and social outputs. The panel data regression model is used to measure time lag effects of innovation inputs. It is found that most innovation indexes or measures have weak influence on the science and technology outputs, while economic indexes do have greater and longer influencial effect. Furthermore, by investigating science and technology outputs among different sample science parks with input lag, it is concluded that most science park’s outputs growth, compared with the growth of input, is modest, although there are improvements on outputs performances, particularly, in the second year right after the innovation inputs.
