Abstract:Based on challengeoriented and affiliative organizational citizenship behavior, this study explored an integrated model to investigate the interaction effect of psychological attachment (affective commitment to the supervisor and normative commitment to the organization) and individual trait (otherorientation and selfefficacy) on OCB. Results show that normative commitment to the organization has a positive effect on affiliative OCB, affective commitment to the supervisor has a positive effect on challengeoriented OCB; other orientations only strengthen the relationship between affective commitment and challengeoriented OCB; selfefficacy has a positive effect on the relationship between affective commitment and challengeoriented OCB but has a negative effect on the relationship between normative commitment and affiliative OCB; interaction between otherorientation and selfefficacy has a positive effect on the relationship between attachment and OCB.
