Abstract:Based on literatures about “context” from different disciplines, this paper summarizes the meaning and characteristics of the “context”. It explores and analyzes the manifestations and effects of dual attributes of “context” in case study on basis of 12 high-quality domestic and international case studies, elaborates how to do case study in sight of Chinese context from tow sides, including “context areas” and “context constructs”. Countermeasures and suggestions are given to improve the quality of case studies.
