Abstract:This paper argues that the absence of basic theoretical research in managerial discipline leads to the maintenance and development of myths in management practices. Ten myths in current management practices are calling for the Manageriology as the theoretical foundation of managerial discipline. Based on the basic theoretical research on management practices, the power of managerial critical thinking may be cultivated, trained and accumulated, and then will be used to break the myths and make organization and management develop reasonably and sustainably.
