Abstract:Based on the coevolution theory, this research conducts a case study on LiNing Company to examine the dynamic alignment among a firm’s competitive strategy, knowledge management strategy and capability development. It is found that changes of a firm’s competitive strategy results in adjustment of its KM strategy and changes in KM process foci and KM infrastructure, in turn, knowledge accumulation and improvement of KM capability provides a base for the firm’s strategic transformation.
