Abstract：This paper is based on technology motivation and market motivation of open innovation, and open innovation is divided into four modes, which are conservative mode, technology innovation, market expansion and dual type. We take Shenyang Machine Tool Group as example to analyze its open innovation process and establish the model of the dynamic evolution of the open innovation models. The study founds out that the dual type of the company reveals the choices of openingup motivation and its requirement for openingup modes in different development stages.
