The study examines the influence of cultural intelligence and positive psychological capital on crosscultural adaptation of overseas students living in China, as well as the moderating role of social support. Three hundred and thirty overseas students living in Hubei province completed interviews and questionnaires. Results of correlation analysis and regression analysis reveals that the overall level of adaptation of overseas students is pretty overage, especially environmental adaptation and language adaptation level are lower; higher cultural intelligence is related to better cultural adaptation; psychological capital of overseas students have significant positive influence on their crosscultural adaptation. Results also found that overseas students who possess higher levels of social support better suit crosscultural adaptation. In light of above conclusions, this paper does some discuss and gives some suggestions on improving crosscultural adaptation of international students in China.
