The commercial success of technology innovation in many firms was the effect of fuse incident. This paper summarizes the primary types of fuse incident based on analysis of the evolution history of a lot of typical technologies, and the functionary mechanism is studied based on each type. At last, it studies the paths to and key issues of exploring and utilizing fuse incident in corporate technological innovation.
