Abstract：Drawing on data from China’s A-share listed companies between 2011 and 2022, this study systematically examines the impact of Specialized, Sophisticated, and Novel Development Policies on corporate supply chain resilience, as well as the underlying transmission mechanisms. The empirical findings indicate that the enterprise supply chain resilience index presents a generally upward but volatile trend, with supply chain robustness contributing the most significantly, thereby emerging as the primary driving force. The Specialized and Sophisticated Development Policies are found to significantly enhance firms’ supply chain resilience—particularly by strengthening supply chain robustness. These effects are more pronounced among medium-sized enterprises, state-owned firms and privately-owned firms, as well as those operating in manufacturing-intensive industries. Mechanism analysis reveals that the policy influences resilience through two complementary pathways: first, by enhancing firms’ innovation quality and risk-bearing capacity through targeted innovation support; and second, by promoting total factor productivity via improved supply chain integration. Together, these channels systematically reinforce the robustness of the supply chain.
