Abstract:Using a single-case longitudinal research approach, this paper has utilized Tianhong as a representative firm and thoroughly investigated the dimensions and paths involving firm digital transformation. It was demonstrated that the digital transformation process was accompanied by the change in business model, which was closely related to the strategy design and organizational change in various stages. Additionally, this study proposed a path framework of three-stage digital transformation together with a three-level estimation method for digitalization depth from the prospective of business model. The present findings have implications for the digital transformation of traditional business.
