Abstract:The study explored the relationship between the work values and employee voice behavior, as well as the moderating effect of perceived organizational support based on trait theory and organizational support theory. We used questionnaire survey method to collect data from 299 workers and tested the model and hypothesis. The results showed that comfort and security have significantly negative effect on promotive voice and prohibitive voice, while competence and growth as well as status and independence both have positive impacts on promotive voice and prohibitive voice. Meanwhile, perceived organizational support has a decreasing moderating effect on the relationship between comfort and security and promotive voice and prohibitive voice, but an increasing moderating effect on competence and growth as well as status and independence.
