The theory model, the relationship between CoPS characteristics and risk results, is built through case study. There are three contributions: the first is that the cause-and-effect relationship was made clear between CoPS characteristics and risk results. This provides theory basis to management practice for how to manage the risks. The second is that the study uncovered that detail characteristic has different effect on detail risks result. Three characteristics have large effect on risk results, they are product complexity, product by order, and multiple companies involved in manufacture process. However, others characteristics have no remarkable effect on risk results. The final is we modify the case study method which is given by Eisenhardt.
