In recent years, as one of the emerging cross fields focusing on the social, economic and environmental triple targets, sustainable entrepreneurship research has received the attention of the academia. This article starts from the key problem that could decide the survival of sustainable entrepreneurship, sustainable entrepreneurial opportunity study. On the ground of summarizing literature about entrepreneurial opportunity formation, recognition and development, we systematically elaborated the economic reasoning of sustainable entrepreneurial opportunity generation, summarized sustainable entrepreneurial opportunity identification under the perspective of institutional theory, and discussed the entry point of enterprise sustainable entrepreneurial opportunity development; Finally, we put forward the defects of the present research and the future research direction in this field.
