Relying on open innovation as the theoretical foundation, this study integrates organizational boundary-spanning and geographic boundary-spanning, and explores the relationship among geographic scope of international R&D cooperation, resource endowments, and technological innovation performance. The sample was collected from Chinese electronics equipment manufactures. Empirical results show that (1) there is an inverted-U shape relationship between geographic scope of international R&D cooperation and technological innovation performance; and (2) financial resources and technological stock positively moderate the relationship between geographic scope and innovation performance.
