Abstract:In this research, the limitations from the history of positivism and the theory of postmodernism is discussed. We further propose that it is not proper for positivism to be the main paradigm of management research; other research methods, such as case study, should have a place in the management research field; and a pluralistic paradigm should be set up as soon as possible.
