Clinical Application of Cloud Platform-based Portable Bedside ECG Monitor

Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical effect of cloud platform-based portable bedside ECG monitor in the context of smart medicine. Methods Using the convenience sampling method, 300 inpatients from a tertiary grade-A hospital in Shenzhen were selected from August to September 2021. Totally 142 patients who used traditional ECG monitor in August 2021 were taken as the control group and 158 patients who used the cloud platform-based portable bedside ECG monitor in September 2021 as the observation group. The image acquisition time and patient and medical staff satisfaction in the two groups were compared. Results The time required and the satisfaction of patient and medical staff showed statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.001). Conclusion The cloud platform-based portable bedside ECG monitor is effective in clinical application for shorter waiting time, improved satisfaction of the patients and medical staff, and reasonable use of human resources.
